TXST has a re-match with Rice and then would face UT in NCAA Tourney.

Nice to see App State in NIVC, TXST hosted first and second round of that tourney last year.

I was at the championship game. TX State is damn good. I was impressed with the App squad too but we just got beat by an even better team.

Also impressed with how many fans came with TX State to Atlanta. I have to assume they were most if not all family and friends but there was a lot. Might have been slightly more than App fans it was close.

AState/Tulane winner and LR/CBU winner will obviously play each other round 2, so its impossible to have 3 quarterfinalists. I know Softball has moved to a version of the NIT, and I really wish baseball would as well. If you run the event right, it's kind of cool.

Lady Bobcats take down Rice 3-1 to advance to their regional final

It's the first ever NCAA win for TXST VB. I know, others probably have done it before but we always get sent to UT (I think there was 1 exception in there) and usually get them in round 1.

Bobcats face the winner of tonight's match between Texas and Stephen F Austin at 8pm tomorrow night.

App lost tonight. Bummer

AState had a 2 set to 1 lead on Tulane, but then lost the 4th set 25-8 somehow. 5th set just starting.

Was hoping that this would be the year we got the UT monkey off our backs . . .

. . . not gonna happen. Tx up 2-0, and the Bobcats are trailing in set 3, 12-4.

Numb Nuts announcer on the Longhorn net. Kept calling us the Bearcats.
