Huskie Fan Advisory Board
Is anyone part of this? Was it useful? Did they take any suggestions? And are they bringing it back or taking on new members? I feel like we all have some good ideas to make the game day experience better to attract fans.

RE: Huskie Fan Advisory Board
I am a member of the fan advisory board. I will relay any ideas that any dog pound members have. I can tell you that those at NIU are aware of many of our conversations here.

Meet in Dekalb at Convo and Huskie Stadium so far and Sean has addressed us and welcomed our input. Extremely positive and people have been allowed to speak their mind.

That’s great news. Are they accepting any new members?

So, what happens after you speak your mind?

What changes are being made based upon the input of the board? If athletics knows many of the concerns that are discussed here already, what is the purpose of the board? I'm not trying to be snarky, but I'm wondering what new ground it covers, both with respect to issues and solutions.

I've read the meeting minutes, if they can be called that, and they aren't very enlightening.

I have no idea what changes you are talking about or would like to see. How about you mention them here and I will bring them up. Seems like a good idea. I will start a thread for dog pound members to speak so suggestions. Then I will bring them up at the next meeting and attribute them to the dog pound.

Thanks for putting in the time on this. I know that NIU is strapped for cash, but maybe they can make some basic, positive changes that are cost effective.

I'm not trying to pick a fight. But isn't part of the mission of this board to point out problems from the fan's perspective and then athletics comes up with solutions?

I get it that no one is going to say replace Huskie Stadium and Athletics says, sure.
