The athletic department also needs to stop lying. There are NO student privacy laws that protect him. FERPA applies only to academics. It has nothing to do with criminal acts, nor does it have anything to do with anything that happens within the athletics department. To say so is to abet a cover up. Period.

The rumor I heard when Davis dropped out of sight was that he had a domestic violence beef, and that he was already gone for good. That may or not be true, which is why I never said anything about it.

If that rumor is true, the problem was handled immediately. The athletic department may choose to try to hush it up, but the truth usually comes out eventually.

Like the Chad Frazier incident, I don't really care. My team is on the court/field. The quality of judgement of 18-22 year old kids is not something that should surprise you. We already knew Kingston Davis had a questionable past.

it is not about the football team or you care or i care about it
,,,it just about the fact that something is not right here and it is not the obvious thing that we hear on the video ,,,,

BREAKING: Former UAB running back Kingston Davis has been arrested and booked in Jefferson County on domestic violence charges.

The arrest stems from a September incident that resulted in Davis' immediate suspension from the university and football team.
