This has been a close game in the last few years. I still remember beating them while the football team beat FAU to get 6 wins....

Two years ago, our free throwing shooting down the stretch lost us the game. There was no excuse for losing that game.

Last year, they had 25 free throws to our 7. We cannot let them outscore us by 10+ points at the free throw line.

Its a huge game for us. I actually think we should be the better team and hopefully win at home. I'm just not confident about it. Its been a while since we've won a big time, meaningful game. Hoping that changes tomorrow night and we smash the Rams.

Nope, last year we had a 59-48 lead with 13:45 left. In the ensuing 12 minutes, we were outscored 25-6 where we had 4 FTs and a single field goal. We lost the game due to our patented scoring drought, not the refs.

I didnt blame the refs. I said we can't let them outscore us at the free throw line.

Hopefully good signs for us tonight lol. This morning in Richmond on my way into work, had 2 vehicles in front of me with Old Dominion Stickers and license plate holders. I was the 3rd vehicle in the line but what a coicidence lol

So, as of now, our odds are roughly -3.5 vs VCU, -8.5 vs W&M, and -10 vs Richmond. That correlates to an expected win percentage of 63% vs VCU, 80% vs W&M, and 83% vs Richmond. (richmond line may end up higher due to injuries).

That implies about a 40% chance of winning all 3.

Interesting that we are favored. I suppose it's all due to being home. I'd bet it would be the same line for VCU if they were home.

FWIW, fun fact about the vegas lines, ODU vs UNI in Virgin Islands closed at -2.5 in favor of ODU, we lost by 1. ODU vs UNI at home saw a line of ODU -7.5. The home court is good for about 5 points then, despite the loss.

Just beat the freakin Rams. I don't care how, don't really care by how much, just win. That is all.

Glad to see. They should release also all the unscanned seats to the general public at 7:30. I'm sick of seeing empty seats and fake attendance numbers at our games. I understand things happen and people have to work late or traffic gets bad, but if you can't get to the game 30 minutes after the game starts, those seats should be forfeited and filled if possible.

What about the VIP folks who just stay up there? That's a lot of seats that are scanned and technically filled but will remain empty.

While we are ranting about small stuff, remember you can transfer your tickets to someone else through ynottix as long as you have their email. Works well. The problem is there's a $3.00 fee. I know it's not breaking banks, but it's still rather annoying that if they want to encourage us to give up tickets to others when we can't make the game, at least make it free for us to do so. (Talk about small gripes)
