RE: Doris Burke
Imagine her and wolo on the same call together?

“Deangelo Henderson with the run from the 55 yard line...Tony Pollard on the tackle”

Of course Dave would be standing on a box the entire game so he’s taller than her.

Do you think she was maybe comparing him to DeAngelo, so she called him that as a compliment? I didn't see the game so I don't know.

Truthfully I think she was about to talk about him breaking D'Angelo's record. So she was thinking about both of them when he got the ball, and just flubbed it. She also appeared to try to correct herself but everything was happening boom-boom. Chris Myers got three Bears players first names wrong a couple of weeks ago in about a 10 minute span. Bears fans were brutal on him. 03-lmfao

Voice was bad but not as bad as the play calling.

??, last I checked we won by 3 touchdowns, scored on every drive in the second half. If it hadn't been for Brady's 2 int's we would have been up 14 at the half.....

If bad play calling gets me 400+ yds rushing and 600 yds total offense, I'll take it.

Lighten up, Francis. I was talking about her calling the plays.

She also did the boardcast of the Memphis UCLA game. She does get pretty excited covering the game but....she has been doing the boardcasting on two games of ours that were on the ABC TV Network. I thought she treated us well, on the air.

She did have Tito Windham tackling Pollard on the kickoff.

Yep and Mechane Slade really returned that kick.

Just watched the replay and it also took awhile for them to realize it was Sam Craft who scored the TD and not Taylor.

I turned the volume down. Beth Mowins is, by a large margin, the absolute worst ever.

They talked about Ed Oliver and Houston being down players the entire second half, almost excusing the loss.

I'll play, who is worse? Andre Ware is annoying but not worse. We had some fifth stringer call one of our early games but he wasnt worse. Im not even being a smartarse. I cant think of worse

It was like she mailed it in today.

Wherever she’s working today, Doris probably had a bad day too.

Doris is always well prepared.

Beth? Not sure what that was.

Doris is well prepared. But the problem with her is she gets going on one single talking point, and is stuck on it the rest of the game. Everything from then on is viewed through the lens of that single talking point.

She's not the only broadcaster who does this, but she may be the worst.

She is really, really bad. As I see it, there are 4 aspects to being a good broadcaster. Voice appeal, knowledge of the game/teams, timing, and likeability. She fails in all 4.

She almost sounds like Martha Stewart calling a game.
