Maybe he wanted what he was promised by Pastner and Bowen. An bench assistant position. That promise was reneged on. He never tried to exert influence over the program like him or not.

Demanding a assistant coaching position to keep your sons... Maybe it is just me but wouldn't that be exerting influence

I was watching Kansas the other day and the ESPN announcer even mentioned that it is easier for Self to manage the two brothers because he's not in Memphis, around family and friends. The announcer used as an example that KJ is not getting minutes at KU.

The lie is that Keelon wanted too much influence and control or whatever else that guy said.... That is not true at all, Keelon was in the background and still was getting pooped on regularly by TUb and staff. That is fact.

But, I am sure you have a link or some way to prove that Keelon was trying to hijack the program. So let's see it.

NoT a KJ fan for the way he left but he was instrumental in their win last night. His biggest issue here was being selfish and forcing things. He is not doing that at KS and finished the latter part of the game last night. He and Dedric play well together when playing within the team concept as both did last night.

It’s ashamed we can’t have those two along with Penny who can control the outside noise.
