The sooner the season starts the better. Noon is helluva lot better than 8pm for starting a game. I make it to the Cocktail Party as much as I possibly can, last year 8pm sucked (I was worthless by game time).

04-drinky :D

Oh hell no! Night games are soooo much better. Get all day to party, rant and rave, and drink!!!! That 8pm was awesome!! I love night games. Can't stand 12am games. Do you know how many people will miss it because they are hung-over?

Being hung over is no excuse for missing a game.

I went to a Georgia game in Death Valley about 20 years ago, what a cow town. I'm okay to watch it on the couch at noon, with TV turned down and Larry Munson on the radio. Whatever, Let's Go Dawgs!

LOL, sometimes it is a reason that people miss a game though. I can't control my drinking habits some friday nights. I am sure you have had similar experiences, hell, especially in Athens

I had to work to put myself through school. I worked almost every Friday night, and caught the end of the parties after I got off work. Making a game Saturday afternoon game was easy, no matter how late I was up or how much I partied. But those 7:50am classes....that was another friggin' story.

God I miss that place! 04-cheers

The Dawgs play better during the day than at night. I can't wait to get up at 9 A.M on August 30th and crank up the tailgate show on the radio.

Noon ?!!! Well, that means about 1:00 AM for me. If nothing else, it increases the likelyhood, that I'll get the live TV broadcast here. If there are no other big games that weekend, I should be able to see it.

Is somebody after a regional broadcast by one of the big 3 or something ? 03-confused I can't imagine there being many other big games on the national schedule to compete with this one on the first week of the season.

An FYI for y'all........

Georgia has not lost a day game since 2000. That's right, our last 5 losses have been night games.

It seems like we will be having similar problems. The TV networks will rule what time the games are played.

We don't have to worry about the 1st three games, but come 9/27/03. when we play Texas Tech in Oxford, the networks will rule. The schools need the TV money too badly to refuse broadcast of our games at the times they have available.

Last year several of the games were unbelievably HOT!
