I have the same questions in my mind approaching this game. I don't think ECU's Carolina boys will like our Friday weather very much. With no opportunity to get bowl eligible, it's hard to believe they'll be highly motivated for a road game in late November. Conversely, I believe our seniors want to end their careers on a winning note at Nippert:

I'm gonna gripe for a second.

I know our athletic department is cash strapped. I get that there's no money to run commercials and buy billboards every week. But the efforts to sell tickets are pathetic. They are running ticket specials this week for the ECU game. Other than Mondays promo, I have had to actively go look to see what the Tuesday and Wednesday promos are. Social media is free. Use it smarter.

They are running them daily on Twitter and Facebook, seen it on both multiple times.

I don't think TV or Radio ads are going to draw up attendance on a Black Friday game.

I will agree, they should have been running ads last week to try and pump up sales, but for the most part, the people that can go, are going. I've got about 12 extra people to buy tickets who normally wouldn't.

The opponent sucks.

I couldn't find it on the GoBearcats or Cincinnati Bearcats Football FB pages. Went to Twitter and the ticketing website to find it. Maybe it's my Facebook filtering it, I don't know, but I'd venture to guess Facebook would reach more people with buying power..

ECU will be motivated. We've consistently gotten better each game since the true freshman Holton Ahlers took over at QB (last 4 games). He's gonna be really great but we're playing a bunch of true freshman and underclassman here late in the year. Surprisingly they are playing better than what we had in there at the beginning of the season. Quite a few are in there not just because of injury as a lot of them have simply earned playing time. They are playing hard to save their coach believe it or not.

Because ECU typically plays bad when we travel up north in Nov. and Cincy is really good I just don't see an upset being likely. That said I could see you guys taking us to the woodshed just as easily as I could see us pulling off a miracle upset. Thus my prediction being somewhere in the middle.

Appreciate your insight. Seems this year, once you get past UCF, everyone in the conference, except maybe UCONN, has the ability to play everyone else pretty tough. I do expect a competitive game.
