The offensive play calling also doesn’t help but I’ve grown so frustrated with all the air mailed throws. Childers telegraphs every throw and if his first read is covered he can’t make the progressions and gets sacked. He literally cost us the last 2 games. It’s time to move on.

He’s had enough time to show what he can be. And you’re right. He lacks many physical tools, but what he lacks most is confidence and leadership. The Huskies are unwatchable with him at qb. I won’t be going to any games he is starting. Nothing personal to the young man, he just is painful to watch.

The offense did change with another qb. Maddie. Maddie was good. Offense was good. Childers is terrible. Offense is terrible. Same head coach.

Carey took over a program with a Heisman finalist at QB. Six seasons later and not a single capable QB on the roster. How is that possible? Regular season is over and NIU only exceeded 200 passing yards in one game, a blowout loss.

Enough with the excuses. NIU officially owns one of the worst offenses in all of FBS. Poor coaching, recruiting, and QB development falls squarely on the coaches.

Do you see carey barking in the headset on offense. Hr definitely has influence on play calling.

I now believe its carey who pushes for fair catches on every punt now too. Nuders everyone.

Yes, Thompson has been the 2. Not sure where Graham is at or healthy. Honestly, I’d love to see Graham in the MACC. I’d go to Detroit for sure. Childers no chance. You can now pencil in 120 yards. 1 TD and 2 ints. And 10+ bad decisions for Marcus. He has lost this entire offense for sure.

He does this every time Childers looks terrible. Instead of just evaluating Childers mechanics and decision making, he defaults to Carey to avoid admitting Childers is not fit to lead a team.
