Figured I would get this thread started over here since I don't see one yet.

I know we might be favored, but our team is kind of a mess at the moment. I would not be shocked for us to find a way to lose this one.

Why is this game on Friday?

Could it be the Iron Bowl is Saturday? But the real reason is that ESPN wanted it on Friday.

This game isn't on TV. A few years ago we had Navy at home on a Friday. I would prefer that we end the season on the road than have a low attendance game to end the season.

Coastal is playing for bowl eligibility, South is playing for pride(if we have any left).

I’m hoping we finish off the season with a win, but I’m also thinking that this will keep an SBC from bowling. With a Coastal win that would bring the SBC bowl eligible teams to 7 out of 10. That’s not to bad.

Here’s to a good game and no injuries. May the best team on a Friday win!!!

Very likely. The team who wants to lose the most will do so.

But seriously, I just hope we can gain some momentum heading into next season. Our seniors have had some good moments and I hate that they have to go out like this.

I think you’re underestimating how bad South Al is. Y’all are awful but they’re bad enough not to kick your teeth in. It should be a close, not particularly good looking football game.

Both Troy and South traditionally play on Friday when they host this weekend to avoid going up against the Iron Bowl.

I'm extremely surprised Georgia State doesn't do that as well when they host against GT/UGA, but the Georgia Staters are a little weird.
