I heard that he told the football team that he loved them and cared about them, and someone asked him if he even knew their names, and had to be escorted out of the building when he couldn't name any of them. Kudos to the players for seeing through the BS.
Sorry for not being in the know. Is this the AD? If this is the AD I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND! Just wow! Pathetic... You need a leader and he ain't one. Yikes!

Sadly, yes ... this is our AD. The face of Athletics at TXST University.
This is also why we're not confident in the hire this clown will have a hand in making.
We didn't just need Withers gone, we really needed this guy replaced. Kinda like Texas did when they got rid of Strong and their AD.

Personally, I think that he may be in possession of compromising pictures of his Boss.
Not anything that I know for sure, but there's no other way that I can explain how someone sooooo incompetent can still be employed in his current position.

WOW. Even our former assistant AD knew the name of EVERY athlete. A friend of mine had a niece on the cheerleading squad and the former AD came in, waved and sat down a few barstools down and I told my friend, the uncle, I wanted to introduce him to my friend, the former AD (you know who you are, bro!) and he was like, "Naw, she's just a cheerleader, he won't know her" and I insisted on it. I intro'd my friends and I told the AD his niece was on the cheerleading squad. He was like, "Really? What's her name?". After telling him her name the AD got all excited and started talking about how she'd really grown with the program and as an extraordinary young lady, citing academic challenges she had early on and how proud he was of her for overcoming those challenges, and how hard of a worker she was, etc., etc.
As my AD friend talked, my other friend was all wide-eyed, smiling, and nodding along and it was obvious to anybody how blown away he was at the fact an ASSISTANT AD at USA cared enough to know every student athlete, even members of the cheerleading squad... and I mean actually KNOW them as not only students and athletes, but as people, too. Later, my uncle friend asked me if the AD had a photographic memory and I said "Not sure, but I know he truly cares about your niece and every other student athlete at the university."
I feel sorry for my TXST brothers and sisters for having this FOOL directing and leading athletics at your fine institution. He wouldn't make it a month in any capacity at USA.
