I'd be willing to bet OU FANS were saying worse after they lost to Texas.

He left out defense.

This is why some coaches are selective in which players get to be available to reporters and anchors for interviews. Coaches are constantly harping at players to be careful on social media.

If a thread goes over 2 pages on a Texas board, that usually pops up in the thread somewhere!

Still, he shouldn't have said that in the press conference.

OU fans had signs saying worse about Georgia in the Rose Bowl last year and that was someone they had probably never played.

I am glad they have started giving taunting penalties for the players doing the Horns down. If they are going to call taunting, that is a classic case.

This is terrible. If players continue to say mean things about their opponents, the next thing you know somebody will suggest keeping score in the friendly games they play with one another.

Because it's funny!

All they did was make him issue a semi-apology that said he actually respects their program. Similar to how, deep down, Ohio State and Michigan alums respect each others' programs more than they respect Purdue or Pitt or Georgia. I thought it was very fitting.

A reprimand? Oh no!! Hopefully this doesn't go on his permanent record.

We are making a much bigger deal out of this than they did.

Considering the class that Texas' head coach showed running on the field screaming at Gundy, even though he later apologized, this is a rather pathetic display for a simple enough slight.

That's because you are an Aggie at heart and on such things can't think independently.

Horns down is clearly taunting by any definition. If you enforce the taunting on the field, that has to be enforced. Doing a guns up or owl wing flap or gig em sign is not taunting the opposition. Its celebrating your own.

Of course Gundy appeared to be shouting at a Texas player and was being restrained by the refs after he ran onto the field. Hermann thought he was defending his player.

An Alabama fan is hardly one to talk about such things. Over the last 3 or 4 years Alabama has changed their character and turned into a really dirty team. Pretty pathetic for a group with such incredible talent to take all the cheap shots they do.

Yeah we’re definitely the only ones in all of CFB that think youre being a bunch of babies by whining to the ref about the how other team hurting your feelings so you should get some free yards.

Everyone else agrees with Tom Herman and thinks WVU should have lost that game for it
