Who do we face in MACC?
The MAC East is still up for grabs this week. It could be a rematch with Miami or Ohio. Or, we could see Buffalo for the first time.
Ohio, Miami and Buffalo each have a chance to get to the MAC title game, where one of them will face NIU. The Bulls are in with a win. A Buffalo loss, Miami win and Ohio win would put Miami in the title game. An Ohio win, Buffalo loss and Miami loss would leave Ohio as the representative of the MAC East.

BGSU is playing inspired football and could potentially knock off Buffalo. And, I don't see Miami or Ohio losing this week. That would open the door for an NIU / Miami rematch.

I think Ohio is the best of the bunch so I prefer to not see them in Detroit. Without the SS "strip-sack" we lose that Homecoming game. We were down 21-9 at some point if you'll recall.
I see Ohio and Miami winning handily.
So, we won't know til about 2pm on Friday.

I do not see the Bulls losing. It will be Buffalo.

Hoping for a Miami rematch. Buffalo looks tough and if it wasn't for that pick 6 against Miami we would have won.

I would love it to be Miami because that is my older daughter's alma matter.

I want Buffalo, who I consider to be the best possible team. No shortcuts. “The Hard Way.”

The Huskies will face the best team from the East. If Buffalo loses to BG, then you and I are wrong about them being the best team, and The Huskies will be playing the best team.

Winning a 2/3 team tiebreaker doesn’t make the winner of the East the best team.

If the East ends in a tie, that is their problem. As long as the Huskies can beat the team that breaks the tie, I will not lose any sleep over it, especially if it is a commanding win.

That had absolutely nothing to do with my posts, but ok.

If, for example, Ohio ends up going and you want to argue that Buffalo was really the best team because of whatever stats you want to throw at me, well they could not have been that much better if they could not secure a trip to Detroit.

If, for example, Miami wins the tiebreaker, would really argue a 9-3 Buffalo team is worse than a 6-6 Miami (OH) team especially when Buffalo beat Miami (OH)?

Want to play them in this order:
Buffalo--like the idea of having played all of the current East teams in the championship. Says a lot about NIU's staying power.
Miami--for revenge.
Ohio--don't want to play them. Don't know why, but they worry me.
Looking forward to another trip to Detroit, no matter who it is!

We absolutely handed Miami that game:
-9 penalties for 90 yards
-Harmston fumble
-Pick six
Miami had 201 yards of offense and won. Would love to play them again.

We have no O and the true FR QB carved up our secondary. I can just imagine what Buffalo's QB is going to do!
