Rice maintain the last spot in Massey.

The Monarchs open as 10 point favorites. Rice has covered 4 of its last 5, FWIW, but all 4 wins were with the benefit of getting 3+ TDs (and Rice didn't come within 10 points in any of those).

Which ODU will show up? The one that beat Virginia Tech and North Texas, or the one that lost by ~40 to Liberty and Middle Tennessee?

It's Senior Day, but will they play like it, given their issues with the new staff? Can Bloomgren get the young kids to play hard with nothing on the line but the difference between 2-11 and 1-12 -- and in a far-less motivating atmosphere and against a far-less motivating opponent than last week?

Am I just imagining this, or do we get a home game during Thanksgiving break EVERY SINGLE year?? (when even fewer students than usual...)

More to the point - 2014 was the 1st season after the final exodus to the American Athletic Conference (East Carolina, Tulane, Tulsa). In the 4 seasons in the current format, in which Rice has had a CONFERENCE game that Saturday, we have hosted 3 times (75% of the time). That is unfair. Perhaps our esteemed Athletic Director can do something about this going forward.

ODU has an unusual season. They were crushed by Liberty and MTSU, yet somehow also beat Virginia Tech and North Texas. Seems like they might play poorly and let Rice sneak out with a win, or play well and beat Rice by a lot.

I really, really dislike Karlgaard (if you hadn’t noticed) but the complaint about Thanksgiving weekend home games is misplaced.

If we had a relevant team that was in the conference race, it’d be great to have home field in advantage in our final conference game.

It's just a "man" thing, age doesn't matter. But, yes, I enjoy watching her sing. I like listening to Freddy.

Back to football - I sure hope we can win this one. Bookend the season with wins, stop the losing streak. Send the seniors off with a victory.

IMO best chance would be to go with Tyner. Heck at this point he deserves a chance. He maybe rusty, almost threw a pic at LSU. I think Wiley needs a Spring camp, Marshman has not traveled so he must be out. Whoever is back there hope they get a sense of urgency, it would be great to see play action fake and quick release. QB run play when WR not open but not just running to the sideline, a roll out hitting a TE, ball thrown down field early in the game. Go OWLS!

Agree hank, but I’ll bet my entire Star Wars collection Green gets the start and goes the distance.
I’m just curious how many guys will be on the roster returning from the soph and junior classes.
