I am hoping the Huskies offense can get a fast start out of the gates. An early TD could take some pressure off and let them play a little loose. If they come out flat against an especially bad Broncos defense, well... that wouldn't be good for anyone. I'm not worried about the defense at this point in the season. Maybe we will see more backups early to avoid injuries.

Their entire offense is built around the running game. They’re playing a true freshman QB. There’s really no logical reason to think WMU scores a lot. They also have an awful defense, and NIU can at least score some against awful defenses.

Our offense cant do anything, you guys stuff the run all night and Eleby throws a few forced throws which are picked off. Our defense eventually gets worn down throughout the game staying out there too long because there are so many 3 and outs. Its going to be a long night for us Broncos tomorrow.

Ain’t that the truth. Just by the odds NIU is due a game where the WRs don’t have bad drops while Childers hits a deep ball in stride and also the O-line/Harmston don’t have killer penalties. If they want to save that game for the MACC fine, but it’s coming!

For an offense this systematically bad it starts with the head coaching position. Unless we have a new head coach for the last 3 games, more of the same is all we can expect unfortunately. Coaching scared is an all too common these we have come to know and accept.

NIU will normally only score at pace of their opponent. If WMU lights it up, I expect an efficient offense, if WMU offense sputters, I think NIU plays very conservative offensively

Ok, the Miami game is still bringing me down. I think the team is feeling the same way and will be ready to take it out on WMU tonight for a convincing win. Each year my goal is a MAC Championship & a Top 25 ranking- the ranking possibility is gone, but still have the MAC Champ goal in front of us, so plenty to play for. Three game win streak away from a 10 win season.

I disagree, NIU's offense is not talented enough to dial it up like that when needed. We are inconsistent because of weak but improving QB play, weak play at the wide receiver position and poor in game coaching decisions.

We do have a good O line, good running backs and a great defense and a great punter. With better in game coaching decisions and motivated play by our offense we can compete with anyone.

Now let's finish this off and win the MAC!
