A-stAte needs the win for any shot at the Championship game...hopefully our guys will go to San Marcos with some focus and determination. Texas State gave Troy all they wanted. Texas State will be without a Head Coach and how they respond to that situation will be interesting.

We will win this game by about 30.

The nice thing is ULM/ULL starts an hour before we do so we should know before our game is over if we are playing for funsies or not.

Our defense is still pretty good. If we get past all the distractions I imagine our guys will be playing with a bit of a chip on their shoulders. stAte wins but not by 30.

Boko, I agree...after what yall did vs. Troy, it’s obvious yall have a stout defense. How you overcome 6 turnovers and only lose by 5 to Troy was impressive. I know Troy has a lot of injuries on offense but dang 6 turnovers...12 points!!!

The crazy thing about that is... Troy scored 3 points off all those turnovers.

That stat blew me away.

I think most of the players really liked Withers and believed in him, so hopefully they will be playing with a chip on their shoulders.

But the guy playing HC this week has only been a HC at Div III schools, so I am apprehensive about how he handles the game. Hopefully he lets the coordinators do their thing, and sticks to knowing when to call timeouts.

I think it was more of an issue of you guys playing the good teams in the conference early, not anything about the staff throwing it away.
