VMI 82 @ Kentucky 92
Even VMI gets into the act, coming within 10 of Kentucky at Rupp arena, 82-92. Bubba Parham went off for 35 points on 11-20 from the field and 10 of 16 from 3. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketb...=401083125
VMI set a record for most 3's by an opponent at Rupp Arena with 19 (of 38 attempts).
Kentucky was -31 going into this one.

Honestly, as a UK fan who watches them regularly, I wouldn't sweat much. The Wildcats are certainly talented this year, but they are not yet a team worthy of all that much praise. They were slaughtered by Duke and have struggled in their other wins to very underwhelming teams. I'd think ETSU would have given them fits more this year than last year. Several SoCon teams probably would have won against them at this point.
The Cats need work and time to get it together. They usually do for the most part. This is going to be one of their tougher years doing it. I think Cal picks lots of individual guys with extreme talent, but they are used to being the superstar on their team. Put them together and it takes a while for the egos to sort out and them to truly become a team.
