RE: Cincinnati Monday & Emerald Coast bracket
Dugan is playing well this year. His footwork and court awareness have improved immensely. Broncos are going to miss him big time next year.

A shot hit here, a foul shot hit there would have led to a victory. The Broncos generally played well against a pesky Nichols State team.

Who stood out: Dugan! The others were pedestrian in their play. Flowers hit some nice threes and drives. Not that the team played poorly, just that no one other than Seth rose to the occasion.

This team is fun to watch. The youngsters get a lot of time and one can see their development.

MAC play will be tough. Kent State beat Vandy last night...as an example.

Expect Hack a Seth to be carried out through out particularly late.

Need to get a midrange game going. Nice go to with Josh to go into OT after others hoisted several errant 3’s.

Like Wilkens and Dugan high/low. Wilkens can finish and hit tosses. Help comes off Seth he’ll get cleaner look.

Loss of Moore and Johnson are huge. Jared is 6th-7th man at best. Playing admirably but long season and will play real men in the league. Development of Martin is crucial. If he can D up and not turn it over he could emulate Moore in his early years. Serviceable.

Not forgetting. Simply an unproven entity. Starting an exhibition game is a tip of the hat but not a precursor. Would likely have played behind Davis and Printy. He isn't a point guard unless major improvements have been made. If so still likely also behind Flowers and Martin.

IMO if Johnson and Moore were healthy likely top 9 would be
Flowers
Moore
Davis
Johnson
Dugan
Martin
Printy
Emillen
Wilkens

Picking a team at a point Before his injury I would take Whitens before any of the Frosh or Printy.

You could be spot on. But again I’m not sure he’s a point guard. And you can’t have Flowers playing 40 minutes every game.

I’ve heard Whitens experienced a knee injury. I saw him up on the sidelines supporting his teammates. What type of knee injury?

Simple answer is Whitens needed knee surgery after Northwood game & I agree he is not a point guard.

I expect Boyer-Richard to fill in more at point as season progresses.
Squeaky can play point if needed.
