Pods and tournament seeding
How is that gonna work? For example, let's say the 4th team in Pod A has 2 conference losses and the 1st team in Pod B has 3 conference losses. The 4th team in A loses to the other three and the 1st in B wins their pod. They now have a better conference record, playing worse teams. Will they be seeded higher in the tournament or is that frozen once Pod play starts? Like Pod A is playing for seeding 1-4 and Pod B is playing 5-8, etc. Not sure I like the idea of losing a top seeding because the next team in line is playing bottom dwellers or lower middle teams and should get more wins. But also not sure if I like not being able to play your way into a better position. Just curious if anyone knows the format.

Yes, it's my understanding that the seeding is locked once the Pod Games begin

Pods and tournament seeding
You cannot be seeded any lower than the lowest seed in your pod for the tournament.
So if you are team #5 and play the top 4 teams and lose all your games, and #6 team wins all their games from the middle pod, then you'll still have the #5 seed for the tournament.
