I think what he have to remind ourselves of is that these are again young college players in many cases. Please don't take that as an excuse but I think sometimes we get disappointed when we don't see a fully evolved and polished finished product. This is mid major basketball. Continuity, experience and development all make a difference but it's gradual and the team will get better as the season goes on. They have more depth and more talent than in past years.

Even with the outside shooting- it takes time. Shooters develop- Ron Curry wasn't a good 3 point shooter initially and later became pretty reliable out there. Same for Charles Cooke (albeit at Dayton).

FWIW The Citadel beat USF on the road today. Still an awful performance and loss by The Dukes at home- you have to win that game- but maybe The Citadel is a little better than expected this season.
