75-64 final. Wofford couldn't hang on the last 10 minutes.

I saw about 2/3 of that game. Magee had 13 in the first half but Oklahoma held him to 6 in the second. Oklahoma played good team defense against him and the other Terriers didn't pick up the slack. Jackson struggled to score against the bigger Sooner interior. Hoover and Murphy combined to hit 7-22 including 5-15 from behind the arc. Wofford hit less than 50% of their FTs.

Actually Wofford did OK to stay close under those circumstances. They miss Stumpe's shooting threat.

Stumpe is not the best player in the SoCon - but he gives the Terriers a range of skills that they just don't have when he's out. He's another scoring threat to draw attention away from Hoover, Magee and Murphy. The guys picking up his minutes don't score. (e.g. Chevez Goodwin, Keve Aluma, Theme-Love, Larson). He's a fine passer who can hit them when they're open. Those guys don't create their own shots - they need a passer to hit them when they come open.

Wofford's still tough without him, but he's the difference between playing UNC tough and actually beating them, playing Oklahoma tough for 30 minutes and really threatening them at the end.
