OK, I just found out that this game is going to be PPV on ESPN's gameplan. No biggie - working for the cable company I get ppv 1/2 - atleast I'm going to get to see the game.
Until.................
I find out that my wife has commited up to take our 3yr old to her preschool class picnic that is on the same day. OK, I thought the game should be at 2:30, we will be home in plenty of time. That was until I read that the game is at 11:00AM!!!!!!!
Arrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!
My option is to order it, record it, escape long enough to listen to parts on the radio & hope the picnic (that starts at 10:30) does not last much past 12. So I can still see a major portion of the game.
But why do I feel like I'm going to get screwed even more with this before everything is said & done?

Ah, kids...
Get TiVo. In my opinion, they should give them out before you leave the hospital with your first child. Get the game, TiVo it, then watch it from the beginning whenever you get home.
Just don't answer the phone from any of your Southern Miss friends who may have forgotten your plan!

dude not to offend, but your 3 yr olds picnic is more important than the game, do as i do. carry a little radio with you & listen when you can, but dont make the game a priority. trust me you will make your child happier & and you will be happier. football wont crwal into your lap and tell you "i love you"
just some advise from a guy who's 6 yr old was 3 yesterdayand i dont remember a whole lot of her being 3

Forget that...sell the kids and use the money to buy the biggest baddest entertainment system to record and watch ALL sporting events. You can have new kids whenever you want, but you never know when we'll be playing Nebraska again.
By the way, I'm joking.

I dont have any kids but, I dont remember being 3 at all and chances are neither will you 3 year old .... but I remember football games very vividly.
So skip the picnic, she'll never remember, and watch Southern Miss put the smackdown
