Odd, coming from Trump. I think his advisors have convinced him that his post election day meltdown was NOT the way to move forward to 2020.

I note that he tweeted a nice note to Doug Jones when he won.

More of Democratic insanity on display. This is the guy who used to send love notes to Nancy Pelosi. He's not a hardcore partisan like all the Democrats in DC. He's about using whoever he can to get things done.

He'll say bad things about somebody one day and nice the next. He's a New Yorker. His insults and compliments are different than a Southerner doing the same thing.

He's brilliant.

Preemptively taking the high road and sending out positive messages to 2 candidates that believe he's literally hitler. They can't not respond, their alt-left base with bury them if they are civil, and normal people will bury them if they aren't.

Except that Gillum and Abrams can simply continue attacking the Florida / Georgia election process and Kemp and DeSantis along the way.

Trump has been trying to bait the left into a riot for 2 years now. Notice how we haven't taken the bait yet?

Most likely both of them will simply say Thank you for your comments today and then continue doing what they were doing.

Politically, Trumps comments were pointed at the suburban women who voted for Abrams and Gillium. That's who he can't have remaining steadfastly opposed to him.

gillum and abrams staffers were called in for an emergency meeting this morning. They are currently mulling over how to respond. They are feverishly yelling out ideas. The best are being written on a whiteboard. Someone will get a promotion today with what they will eventually go with. Many will be fired.

They all will be fired. The election is over and they lost. They'll take Christmas off and then go work on a new campaign.

Both have gone dark on twitter, and know it only gets worse the longer they take to respond. The tension in their respective conference rooms is palpable.
