i dont think you get, the fact that no one is touted players are bad....we all want touted players

we are just saying coaching is more important

also it wasnt just kira lewis, bama is returned almost everyone from last years team,

LOL.... yeah.

We’re falling into a predictable pattern here. Let’s call it Noobitis.
Last year the ruckus coming from Shockerville was a bit over the top. They were the new kids and were (understandably) excited.

This year it’s all about Penny. Again..... understandable.

But some of the Shocker fans aren’t quite ready for sophomore year.
Not everyone can show the maturity and provide the thoughtful dialogue the HuskyU does on a daily basis. 05-stirthepot

There is a fine line between a passionate fan and an unapologetic homer.
We’ll be beating dead horses here every year.

Speaking of dead horses.... how ‘bout those Mustangs?

I think you’re just sour.

The Saddest Budweiser?

They don’t call him SadBud for nothing.

Yes. It was a great win for the league.

Do you want to waste a year of his eligibility when you are most likely not gonna be a tournament team? Or in the long term, is it better for him to sit out this year, practice with the team, and have 3 full years left next year when you will be a much better team.

Ahhh... the shocker version of the Semi Ojeleye conundrum. Semi sat a year and a half because....why blow a whole season playing half a season while your team is on probation? Would have been great to have him back one more year though.

Player of the year before the season starts?? How the heck does that work? I watch college basketball a lot, but I can't recall mention of a "preseason POTY".

You should listen to Pesik. He has it all figured out well before the season begins. Conference champs, NCAA berths, POTY’s, recruiting coups, attendance.... you name it. He is a veritable hardwood Siri.

Pssh .. WSU fans have provided plenty of thoughtful dialog around Jank since Day 1!!!

That is very true. You told us so.

Did anyone see Alabama with a bunch of 4 star guys have to hit ~30% better than their season average on FTs in order to squeak out a 4 point win against a bunch of no talent scrubs?

something that was interesting about the Memphis game yesterday was that tyler harris took all the big shots, not Martin..there were 3 different must make shots for memphis last game...all 3 were taken by harris and designed to be taken by harris ...
martins role on Memphis has dramatically reduced

Good eye.

Penny talked about that in his post-game presser. I'll post the vid below if you're interested.

BTW, I will say this for Penny -- he's really good when talking to the press. You can tell he understands the game and you can also see that he can break it down for the audience.

I think WSU has some talent and I wouldn’t call them scrubs.

I just made it to my Mom's for Thanksgiving after a detour in Charleston for the games. I agree that the Shockers have some talent and with such a high volume of young players, I think will be much better at years end and competing for a tournament bye.

Especially like the middle presence that Echenique provides. Long term, Stevenson will be better than Austin Reeves. GREAT crowd brought there too.
