RE: EU Parliament thinks the EU defeated Nazism
One big mistake the Germans did was not having a capable 4 engine aircraft to take the war to England. Rockets couldn't do the job as they were not accurate. It was more of an intimidation than anything but at the end even the rockets were being shot down. Hitler might have been a mighty speaker and cheerleader but as a "corporal" his military expertise was pretty much like the average mans. If he wasn't so intent in starting a war so quickly or at all he could have become one of the greatest leaders in history but he was power hungry and that was his demise. Starting a war with Soviet Union was the biggest blunders in the war as he had to fight a dual front instead of just fighting a western war. He should have finished off England and then the USSR but stupid him, he screwed up. I'm grateful for that because I would have had to learn German too. 03-wink

The real irony here is that the EU is Hitler’s dream without the ovens.

The hubris of dictatorships. Both Hitler and the Japanese leaders were warned about the negatives of getting Russia and the US involved before finishing off other foes.
