He's definitely worth a scholarship, all teams have someone on the end of the bench who doesn't play and what if he can be developed. Upside is worth it IMHO

I have video of Mark Gasol playing in high school where he can barely run down the court. I swear it took him ten seconds just to get over half court. I'll trust Hardaway and his staff to evaluate the kid but it can take kids that tall a long time to regain their coordination after so much growth.

Again, Marc was Mr. Basketball his senior year and averaged 26/14/6 that year. Team was state runner-up.

Clearly one "video" wasn't indicative of his output.

He's from Baltimore, so either came through the Memphis Airport or I-40.

He's no Steve Turner...but that's a good thing. He doesn't appear as stiff and uncoordinated as a lot of guys that size. Does a good job of keeping the ball high when he catches it too.
