Marc averaged 26 ppg 14 rpg and 6 blocks per game as a senior at Lausanne. Led them to the state runner up.

Marc was Tennessee Mr. Basketball that year, too.

Averaged 24/13/5 as a junior.

Bring this thread back up when dude is averaging 20/10 as a junior.

You guys are correct. Not a good comparison. All I’m saying is this young man needs time to grow into his body. Not saying he’s going to be a superstar but who knows at this point.

Kid can't dribble. Looking down entire time. Good to see him working on it. Needs a coach in front of him throwing up #s that he has to see and say out loud. If he is willing to work, he can get there. I remember several big men who didn't have the best skill set until college. Earl Barron comes to mind. Felton Spencer at Louisville couldn't walk and chew gum and became a solid C. Guys rely on their height in MS and HS. In college they're forced to grow their skill set.

Side note: Wiseman will need bigs to compete against in Practice. Not always bad to have a big lug to put your big center against in practice.

Just now seeing this. The lower level was pretty much full. Except for the ends which extend out longer than the court, because of hockey. Pretty good crowd. Got loud when Wiseman dunked. He likes to pull and yank on the rim, making the whole goal shake.

Walking out my son asked me if we can go to more East games. To which I said “of course”.

That’s how fans are born.

Calkins said there were about 5,000 there. 3000 of those tickets were sold after Wiseman committed.
