“Look, if I had my druthers, the city government would determine every single plot of land, how development would proceed," he said. "And there would be very stringent requirements around income levels and rents.”

Actually scary that the mayor of the largest city in America (of course) believes that he is best to decide where everyone lives and where/how big every piece of property in the city should be.

As with all socialists - wanna bet he and those of his choosing will wind up with the best accommodations!!

Wow, de Blasio is scary. He isn't even politically afraid to start talking about wanting straight up socialism. Does he have any idea how NYC was even developed into the city it is today?
