Brady has to throw a deep ball occasionally and Darrell and Patrick will take care of the rest
We need 40K rain or snow for seniors last home game

All we can do on this board is go to the game and encourage others to attend. Self flagellation serves no purpose.

It was gratifying watching the Tiger defense regularly invade SMU’s backfield. 04-cheers

Yeah ... We seemed like a different defense. I would say something like WE SEEM TO BE PLAYING BETTER ... But that would eFF up the whole deal ... so I won't say it. 04-chairshot

Frustrating game but we got out with a win which is the most important. With that being said, I was really disappointed with receivers dropping passes and not being situationally aware at times. Really alarms me when we just need a 1st down and a receiver will step back in an attempt to make a big play rather than secure a 1st down. I don't think it hurt us in this game but that is just a habit that needs to be worked out of them. Also, the penalties were ridiculous.

SELF FLAGELLATION
Dude I'm not whipping myself, I'm just pointing out that if we want a P6 conference, to keep our
Coach and land good recruits, we need to put 40K in the seats for a BIG GAME rain or shine
Hot or cold.

Yes, the Houston game is a big game. Good opponent. Day after thanksgiving. Senior day. Be there.

Did we really do all those things we got penalized for?

I really couldn't tell.

Mostly, yes. I hope Norvell puts them through hell the next few days at practice.

Mostly, but it was not called as tightly both ways. It seemed like they were keyed in on certain aspects of our game. Also, when they overturned the muffed punt, I didn’t know the refs could assess a penalty from a review (other than targeting). Otherwise, they could asses many penalties while reviewing all plays. Found that curious.

Now that is something that you just don't hear everyday...lol.

The colonoscopy isn't so bad, but the prep is like watching the 1st half of this game.

I see someone speaks from experience. Indeed. Looking back now that we’ve won and 24 hours later, perhaps I was a little over zealous in my analogy.

A daytime game on a work day? Memphis is a working class town. That's bad timing. Hopefully the fans that don't have to work turn out in droves.

Many things go into scheduling these games. TV and the Conference has a big say.
