RE: 2018-19 Basketball Games of Interest
I was at the Mountain West tournament in Las Vegas today and watched Trey Porter and Nevada implode. Porter acted like a complete baby b*tch in both games during the tournament. Today he tried a cheap shot on San Diego State's center. He hooked the guy and pulled him down, but the guy fell on Porter, hurting Porter's arm and cutting his head by driving it into the floor (accidentally)...and Porter got called for a Flagrant 1 foul. What a turd.

As much as we could have used him in a Monarch uniform this year, I can't help but feel like we were better off without him. Not from a talent perspective, but from a team-unity perspective. That guy is a chronic whiner and very hard to cheer for.

2018-19 Basketball Games of Interest
Just watched a sports center bit on bubble teams. I actually learned something interesting! NC State is in the bubble discussion because their NET is like 32. If we were still going by RPI which is around 100, they wouldn't be in the discussion. Pretty nuts how the different system benefitted them so much. Their OOC SOS is apparently the worst in the country. Impressive.

This team has more heart without him.

NC Central beat Norfolk St. Was really hoping for 2 Norfolk teams making the dance today. Guess it’s up to ODU to represent!

Yeah I was watching that one too. Tough last few possessions for OrfSt, they really rushed things unnecessarily

Yeah, but they might’ve seeded us in the 16/16 “first four” round!

J/k, but there’s always a little truth in every joke

God forbid if we lose tonight, we could easily see the Spartans in the NIT.

They'll be a 7 or 8 seed, we would likely be a 5 or 6. I'm sure they'd put us against Butler.

I don't know about the seeding at all but I do know someone who has some insight into the NIT process and he suggested they are very $$$ conscious and pay for the travel teams expenses. - ergo - He thought Norfolk State at ODU was likely to happen if we both end up in the NIT. Hope we are in the Big Dance but if we stumble tonight it will be interesting to see if he is right.
