RE: WMU Cans DC
Nothing personal against anybody but I just gotta ask, is this where we want to go? Are we going to start separate threads for everything (and yes, I'm exaggerating) involving UT opponents? But the Miami-Northern game, the Ball State-Western game, and a coaching change (involving an assistant, not a head coach) at Western? All with their own threads? Really?
I usually start the opponents threads each season and I'm biased because of that, but I don't think we want to go in this direction. We get enough threads where there are very few, if any, responses. My take is that games not involving the Rockets don't deserve a separate thread - only exception to that might be at the end of a season, if a game's outcome could give the Rockets the MAC West title. Otherwise, I don't see it.
Or maybe I'm wrong again (as the regulars here know, I'm wrong a lot). So fire away. I can take it.

However, we'll still have the same DC next year, who has not gotten the job done yet.

Considering the posts regarding the need of making off season staff changes for UT, thought this was an appropriate post. WMU is similar to UT, recent MACC, lost a young HC to a P5, lost most of the staff, have a talented roster from top MAC recruiting classes, starting a #2 QB,Defensive/OL issues, team is under performing. Now WMU's HC has now made a major change. Will Candle make changes or will it be the
same staff?

Fair enough. Makes sense.

Agree. I don't have any issue over any of the threads. I thought they were worthy of "headlines."
You're hangin' on too tight, cnyrocketfan.

Could be. I'm sort of known for that.
Though I see now where Boca was coming from with this thread.
But I'm holding on (at least for now) with my point about the games. The opponents thread is a perfectly good place to discuss games that don't involve UT.
Maybe I'll start new threads for the next VMI football game or the next Wilberforce men's basketball game.
Well, maybe not. I'm just
