Saw a UCA recruit
I got to see the Brown kid from Waldron last night at Magazine. He definitely is a shooter, although it is not hard to shoot when you are wide open all night. He has committed to UCA, and he might fit there. However, their scorebook guy told me he had received interest from Kansas State and was considering decommitting because of that. I definitely don't see him as a Big 12 player.

College has a way of taking kids down a notch. On my blog I posted a video of the McClung kid at Georgetown. He is pretty special, but right now he is only 4th on the team in scoring. When you coach is one of the great players in conference history (who stands 6-11), I would imagine it would inspire a certain amount of humility. "Anything you can do, I saw a lot better."
