The storyline, at least in some places, is that wiseman's Mom is very fond of Calipari. Now I read that she's very fond of Leonard Hamilton. I have read that she's also very fond a Penny. I suppose she could be very fond of all these folks at once. She seems like a nice lady.

It’s the #1 recruit in the nation. Kentucky and FSU will both be trying to pull out all the stops to land Wiseman.

I know a guys that went to school with Stan Jones. He says Stan told him mom is very fond of Leonard and they feel very confident about their chances.

Yeah the parents dictate where the kids sign these days. Pretty sure Chandler wants to play for Penny again but his dad didn't want nothing to do with the program. So naturally Penny backed off so the family distractions wouldn't prop up again.

Mom is influencing a slow and thoughtful decision process but not his final choice.

I think Chandler did want to come to Memphis. But you got the other reversed. Penny backed off Chandler because he decided it would not be in the best interest of his overall roster and chemistry.

I heard a rumor that Penny was advised by his boss to back off the remaining Lawsons. It could've been totally false, I don't claim to know anyone that would have that much direct knowledge of the situation.

Bowen does not tell Penny what to do. And if he tries to push it, he will need more than resumes.

I've heard The Lawson parents and Penny had some disagreements with the way Chandler was used at East.
