Final stats are sickening!
548 yards to 349, 361 yards rushing to 67, 42:00 to 18:00 time of possession! Again, how do you give up 35 points in regulation on only 18 minutes of possession time? BSU QB went 22-27 for 267. I guess that’s how. No pressure (until late), soft coverage and poor tackling.

Because our secondary and ST reek.

You have to have both offense and defense, you can't have just one. And our weakness on defense is in the secondary, so our opponents score quickly. That's the story of the stats.

If the Co-DCs are not fired, I'm not watching a single game next season.

When you dominate a team in yardage and time of possession like we did why would you ever go for the win in overtime? The odds were in our favor. Ball State had to pull trick plays -- doing what they could to pull out the win because they could not stop our running attack. KICK THE DAMN EXTRA POINT!!!

Apparently our math major coach decided to against the odds -- and lost.

I remember the good ole days when we won TOP and won games by a lot....

Absolutely no way any team should lose a game winning TOP 42:00 to 18:00, that is disturbing and pathetic. I’ve never see a defense so bad, especially players taking horrible angles and poor tackling. Our secondary looks lost most of the game.

I have no problem going for the win. We did not dominate defensively. We owned TOP only because they could score in 2-3 min drives passing at will. We tried to wear them down, and if you could remember about a month ago that was the strategy that worked against crap offenses.
