I mean at what point do you just stop following the program? This team has its issues and Cronin has his issues, but what are you getting out of following the team if this is how you respond to a game where they did what they were supposed to do? Honestly I'm curious

When did we decide to tolerate posters calling our student-athletes some of the names I've seen used on this thread and others? Stiffs, worthless, garbage, etc? Rip the coach all you want, but we're talking about 18-22 year olds that don't get paid to do what they do. Not a good look for many of you.
Checked all those channels, not on any of them. Blacked out on ESPN3. How far has UC basketball fallen?
Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Just could Not get in. Phone was full so I could not download FOX Sports. And I guess I don’t have that particular channel even though I had the Xavior game on Fox sports Ohio. The alternate channels tip having pay-per-view boxing.
I don’t remember about ESPN3. If I would’ve had that I could’ve done that. But it would not allow Me even with my Dish Network password.Game was blacked out from my ESPN app as well.

only speaking for myself...but if I say this is a team of stiffs or they are offensively stiffs etc., it is a reference to their abilities on the court or on the field etc.. Not a comment about them personally or as people. I think if one gets a full ride free education to play a sport, one is subject to criticism of ones game/ability.

What is truly amazing is not the performance of the players, or the coaches, the beautiful new arena, none of that......

We're gonna get 20 wins because the conference schedule is favorable and despite having some raw players the roster is still capable of playing great defense--which, say what you will about him, has been enough to get Mick's teams to the tournament for nearly a decade now.
I know how this year will play out because I've seen it before. Tre Scott will become a legit scoring option down low, one of either Broome, Williams, or Trevor will develop into a complimentary roll, the rest of the guys will play good D, and we'll probably end up as an 8-10 seed before another terrific off-season of debating whether Mick can ever win in the postseason.
What I'm really curious to see is if we somehow fall into the Sweet Sixteen after the season based off some dumb luck. At least that will provide some interesting conversation for the next few months.

Im referring to their game...their games suck. I don't know them as people so I couldn't possibly be referring to them on a personal level.

Was only able to watch about 2/3rds of the game and was kind of distracted and didn't have sound. Meant to record it, but that plan fell through.
From what I was able to watch. The good.
Tre Scott can shoot. He still lacks in confidence a bit and hesitates at time, but he has a nice stroke and is a threat from 3. He will become a scorer for us and possibly make the NBA as a 3-and-D player if he can continue to extend his range (like Clark did).
Williams is an excellent slasher. If he can develop enough of a 3 point shot to make teams respect it, he has star potential. If Broome can't figure it out, Williams should be taking his starting spot.
Justin Jenifer. If only he was taller he would be an excellent player. But he played a good game tonight. Made some nice shots and led the team in assists.
The bad.
Cane Broome. What happened to him? He hasn't been a scorer at all this year.
I missed when Diarra was in the game. Really wanted to see him play.

First 2 minutes of the press conference. All about D, JJ stepped up on D. justin Jackson called from Poland about someone stepping up on D. It is just comical at this point. the jokes write themselves.
Is this the start of the yearly stretch of games where the offense looks aggressive and competent, maybe might even hit 90 or 100 points, giving the impression that they are starting to get "it". Leaving us hopeful that things might be turning for the better, only for this to come screeching to a full halt once anyone with a pulse rolls into the arena?
