DeSantis/Scott were good pickups and somewhat negate the loss in Arizona, but Florida wasn't the bellwether he was implying it would be at the time. dems still did (relatively) well in the House despite those losses.

The racist card has been so overplayed, its become a farce. If virtually everyone is accused of being racist--then nobody is a racist (which is pretty close to true). There really arent many racist anymore. In addition to be vile, they are universally denounced and shunned. Not exactly a group thats going to attract much of a following.
