LOL! 03-lmfao

That was funny! And I don't think you even intended for it to be funny, only factual.

Of course, if Stock played for UAB instead of MTSU, he would still be one of the youngest players on the team. 03-old

Both. We were the ones who busted on wkcc fans the most for Doughty's age. I've actually been waiting for that one for a while. 03-lmfao

Yeah. It’s been sitting in the back pocket for a long time. I did the math on Little Stock back when ya’ll were dogging Brandon. Can’t believe time has passed that fast.

And Middle fans were by no means the only ones dogging Brandon. Of course Brandon was killing the hell out of ‘em. Especially his senior year.

Mason Fine.

Even at 5'9", his numbers are incredible and he may be the toughest QB I've even seen put on a jersey.

Do you think he could lead his team to comeback win against a P5 with a cracked sternum? Asking for a friend.

Congrats on finally figuring that out. I know the three years to solve that math equation must have seemed like it flew by. That 24-21 is a real stumper I realize up there at the community college, so please let me be the first my friend to offer congrats.

Morgan, who I believe is best positioned to win it, has interestingly not been named POW once this season.

As for the career thing, Brent is third all time in C-USA passing TDs. If he gets two this weekend he will become just the 25th QB in NCAA history to get to 100. He's also going to be top 50 all time in yards after passing former greats like Peyton Manning and Eric Zeier last week. He will pass Mike White on Saturday.

Had he not missed 10 games he would probably finish top 10 in all career passing categories.

If Brett didn't miss those 10 games, he would have lost eligibility years ago. Still, Brett will play 43-45 (posible conf and bowl) games in 6 years vs Manning played 45 games in 4 years. Zeier played 44 in 4 years.

2016 Brett was on fire, averaging 3+ TDs a game. So i think you may be right, without those injuries during/after 2016 he could have kept that pace up and crush some records in 4-5 years of play.

First of all, who the hell is Brett?

But beyond that, your argument is disingenuous on top of being factually inaccurate.

Six years?

2013 was a gray shirt season, he wasn't on scholarship, he was never going to play.

2014 he threw three passes. Are we really counting a season in which he appeared in one game, in which he threw the ball three times?

For all intents and purposes, Brent's tenure as our starting QB and leader began in 2015, so no, Brent is not going to play 43-45 games in six seasons, he'll play in 43-45 games in four seasons plus a three attempt outing in 2014.

The ten games to which TIBL were referring to were in 2016 and 2017 and thus would have nothing to do with his eligibility in 2018. 2014 was his medical redshirt.

Beyond that, were you talking about Peyton Manning and Eric Zeier? Both of whom played when the regular season was still eleven games for all four of their seasons?

You are right sir, Brett was not a class of 2013 athlete and he is not still playing in 2018!

Would have loved to see him play his full guaranteed 53-55 games though, as there is at least one championship game in there!

He played four seasons, the fact that he took a gray shirt one year and a medical redshirt the next, doesn't change the fact that he played four seasons, nor does it change the fact that you were incorrect about the 10 games missed having an effect on his eligibility.

After he undergoes a few more surgical procedures, Bionic Brent should be declared Eternally Eligible and become our permanent QB.

Fine is the only player I've seen this year (so far) who I thought could change the game's outcome single-handedly.

RE: POY?
As of this morning Mason Fine was 2nd in the nation in passing yards, with 25 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He has almost 1,000 more passing yards then the next closest C-USA QB, and leads the conference in passing touchdowns and still has the fewest interceptions.

He will be the C-USA Player of the Year, and 1st team QB, unless something really dramatic happens between now and next Sunday.

Who is Thomson, and when did I see him play against USM and MTSU? When did I see MTSU play at all? Must be Ambien flashbacks.

As much time as Brent has spent on his back this year is amazing he’s put up the numbers he has.

He single-handedly changed the USM and MT games with his nice crucial interceptions. Oh, you meant for the positive. My bad.
