The NCAA announced the men's soccer bracket today and the ACC came out shining. 9 of our 12 teams made the 48 team field. More impressively, half of the seeded top 16 who receive a 1st round bye come from the ACC. Syracuse finished 1-4-3 in league play and the committee still rated them 16th in the country.

He’s correct. The top 16 get a bye to the round of 32.

Man Louisville got screwed. We beat Wake Forest and North Carolina, both seeded above us in The ACC Tournament and we get a #4 seed. They gave Kentucky who won CUSA a #3 seed. I hope our side takes this as slight and takes an attitude to the pitch. This is BS!

We did beat them both to win ACC Tournament, but they both had better regular seasons in conference play. Wake was ranked #1 most of the year in the polls.

UK also beat us head to head so hard for me to argue. If we hadn’t won the tournament we may have been seeded more in the #8-10 range.

We beat the team that was number 1 all season, on their field, in front of their fans and still we get no respect. We beat Indiana in August and they get #2, ahead of us. Just doesn't make sense.

NC State won their opening game last night, beating Campbell 4-1. The ACC now has 9 of the final 32.

I was wrong. Maybe we shouldn’t have been seeded at all after losing at home to a Big 10 team. Disappointing way to end the season. Hopefully the rest of The ACC performs better than UofL.

Louisville, UNC, and Syracuse go down at home in ugly fashion to end their seasons, while NC State couldn't pull off the upset. 5 ACC teams remain in the final 16.

So, safe to say the ACC tanked in the NCAA considering we had 9 of the 16 seeded teams and yet only 1 team made the quarterfinals.
