Will be good as usual. Picked to win the OVC. Has the league's returning POY and a bunch of other returnees to support him.

They will boat race this team. Belmont probably wins by double digits - thinking 15 to 20 point win.

If MT pulls this off we are better than anyone thinks we are.

If we could somehow keep it to 4 losses or less this week, that’d add to our strong start as a conference.

MT hold the all-time edge in the Belmont series. Think it's 21-17. But, if memory serves in this century, Rick Byrd seemed to have Kermit's number more often than not. Maybe, in the McDevitt era, MT will reverse the Kermit trend. Wishin' and Hopin'.

Will Jackson be back tonight for UTSA?

It's amazing, even with MT's best teams, Rick Byrd's Belmont's teams had Kermit's number. Byrd's teams usually look like Norman Dale's Hickory Huskers and they do this year as well.

Yeah. Sadly, looks like UTSA will go 0-2 (hope not, but not very confident in their team) and UTEP will lose to Arizona. Rice/Houston feels like a toss up, as does USM/Troy and MTSU/Belmont. Need to win those toss ups.

I was going to say that Pepperdine might be one of the only schools, possibly the only one, that would consider the Bahamas a downgrade from its campus. But given how they're having to deal with the fires out there, they're probably really damned happy to be a few thousand miles from it.
