They will boat race this team. Belmont probably wins by double digits - thinking 15 to 20 point win.

You’re welcome if you used this to make any money tonight.

The time for the Marshall-Mt St Marys game is incorrect. It’s at 7:00pm EST on Wednesday. It’s incorrect on the espn site.

I'll take your word for it. Fixed. I thought 2:30 on a Wed was an interesting choice.

First half it looks like MT was up 54-46. What happened?

First half it looks like MT was up 54-46. What happened?

The young buck McDevitt got schooled and outcoached by Rick Byrd. The veteran head coach made a very simple halftime adjustment and McDevitt just kept having his team try to do the same thing.

Belmont started putting pressure on the dribbler and cutting off passing lanes and MT had not clue what to do except throw up brick after brick and turn it over. First five minutes of the second half MT missed its first seven shots and turned it over five times while Belmont went on a 16-0 run. Ball game was over in the first five minutes of the second half. In those five minutes Belmont flipped an eight point deficit and made it an eight point cushion and never looked back.

Worst part is McDevitt still ostensibly clueless about what to do never changed anything. And the team ended with something like 15 turnovers in the second half and shot 6-of-29 from the floor. We could have built a new arena with the bricks we were laying in the second half. All because of one minor adjustment McDevitt didn't know how to handle.

It also doesn't help that McDevitt isn't exactly a defensive guru. Teams are going to score a lot of points on MT. The days of watching MT opponents be held in the 50's or 60's are over. We might not hold a single team to that number all year.

That would just be on 3 balls!!!

Hell. Until we beat Belmont I mark them down as automatic loss. I have them down as a loss this year. We’ve been blown out by them and we have found extraordinary ways to lose to them when we had them beat. We have a Belmont jinx.

And they will cornhole your team the minute you walk in the arena. Refs are always kind to Rick Byrd in Nashville. And I am never a ref basher. Not saying the refs beat Middle but they probably shared a late night dinner with Byrd after the game.

We play them down there this year. A friend texted me and asked if I wanted to go. I couldn’t type lol enough times.

83 all with 26 seconds left. FIU had taken the lead but has been cold for the last critical minutes.

Exactly. It’s games like this that have killed CUSA in past years.

6 games tomorrow. Without looking at the spreads, im guessing we are favored in 3 of them. Would be nice to steal an upset to go 4-2.

Yep. We have always lost these close games in years past. So far most of the bounces have went our way. Long ways to go but man oh man, what a start so far.

Need to have a big day tomorrow.

I think Marshall and North Texas are going to win big.

UAB is a toss up that I expect to win.

UTSA, UTEP, and Rice are all under dogs imo. It would be really nice for one of you to steal a win while Marshall, UAB, and North Texas all take care of business. I would consider that a solid day over all.
