CUSA off to a pretty good start in men's hoops
Charlotte beat Oklahoma State at home last night (they were down 24 at one point and won it at the buzzer).
USM just beat SMU on the road today.
FAU hanging tight with UCF on the road.
Louisiana Tech opened its season with a win at Wichita State
Marshall, UNT looking good early.
This conference in basketball is really nothing compared to football. I think I saw one ratings site has CUSA currently rated as the 6th conference in men's hoops, but it's probably way too early to be looking at things like that. But I'd like to think 2 or maybe even 3 bids to the NCAA would be nice.

It's been a long time since CUSA was allowed 2 bids to the tournament. I say "allowed" because the CUSA team has advanced 3 years in a row, but that doesn't seem to matter to the selection committee.

FAU did win BTW. That's the preseason #12 team in CUSA knocking off AAC preseason favorite on the road.
North Texas also won the Hawaii tournament late last night.
I think CUSA is now 3-0 vs AAC this year, all on the road. We can make it 4-0 later this week (um, don't hold your breath on that one though).
