RE: Week 12 Sunbelt Projections
Yes, we'll lose to Troy, yet again, and probably BIG.

The good news: it won't be at home, in a near empty stadium, in front of thousands, make that hundreds eeerrrr tens of fans.

RE: Week 12 Sunbelt Projections
Isn't ULM playing some pretty decent ball right now? I mean, it's not that crazy to say that ULM beats state.

And for some reason, I have a feeling that the Troy/Texas State game isn't going to be a blowout. I don't think we'll pull off the upset, but I'll say we keep it inside of two scores.

You're cute . . . inside of two scores, only IF they're resting their starters.
In the Withers era, TXST Vs Troy:

2017: Troy 62 TXST 9
2016: Troy 40 TXST 7

Hey, I said I have nothing other than a feeling on this. To be fair, I also had a feeling we beat the Cajuns, and look how that turned out.

I just go with the feeling.

I expect we'll open as about a 4 or 5 point favorite.

Oh its not out of the realm of possibility at all. Thing is, ULM hasn't beaten us since 2009, and their record in Jonesboro is even worse. If they do win, it would be a pretty historic accomplishment.

And the truth is, until last season, the games over the past 8 years haven't really been particularly close. I believe we've won almost all of them by multiple scores.

ASU won in 2011 by a 24-19 score and though the final score was 67-50 last year, I think we'd all agree it was a lot closer than that. But I get your point and in general you are correct on all the items you mention. I do predict a high scoring game by both sides like 2017.

I didn’t realize App State was suddenly “the” team to beat 07-coffee3

It’s called math. Unless App pulls a GS and loses to GA St next week the host of the SBC will need to win in Boone 11/24.

Correct.

Even if Troy somehow lost to Texas state it does effect our SBC east championship.

Texas state is basically a tune up game

If you’d like to make it easier for us please do lose to GSU 03-drunk

RE: Week 12 Sunbelt Projections
Our offense is dead in the water, and our defense is burnt toast. I don’t see us beating GS. However, I thought the same thing last year.

Your offense was a bit better last year. I think your defense was too.

Of course the way things are going lately I guess all bets are off.

If it makes any difference, based on how we played this week... This game was gonna be a tune up game regardless of conference standings.
