Any UH fan thats going to go mouthing off about Oliver can **** right off. That kids done more for this program than any of you. With the way things are going right now there's no reason for him to jeopardize his future. For the record him staying healthy and going high in the draft would be a good thing for the team anyway. Instead of trashing the kid lets just focus on rooting on those Coogs that are playing.

I totally understand why he is doing an am not going to bad mouth him for it. I just wished he would help us try to win a championship.

So the Navy game/block apparently has ended his college career? Those types of blocks need to be looked at closer if careers are the end result. To be engaged with a blocker and than chop blocked is not the way a career should end.

But essentially the injury did end his career, because he doesn’t want to risk re-aggravating it.

Yes, but the message was sent that he is vulnerable to no NFL career before it starts.

RE: ***Offical Temple @ Houston Game Thread***
ill be honest, ed not playing lowered him on the mount rushmore of UH

DL chambers is lost for the year, DL carter is lost for the year, Dl Flemming (eds backup) wasnt cleared to play this game...we desperately need him, we have no chance to stop the run without him, we cant pressure the qb without him...we are still in the conference title run and needed him...and he chose the money

i cant fault him... But I cant put him with the greats anymore

It's become apparent the last 2 weeks that Oliver was THE Houston defense.

Defense is absolutely non-existent without him.

My thoughts exactly. Oliver really hasn’t done much for us overall...

Yep, he did take on a lot of blocks which freed up our LBs. now we just get dominated.
