Rice has a couple players out due to injury to start the OOC.

We lost 54-65 at #20 Texas A&M Wednesday. We play at UCLA tomorrow afternoon. Those are really our two main marquee OOC matchups this season.

Really need the UCLA win to set up for a solid run at CUSA this year.

Rice lost by 9 @ ucla. This league will be rice vs uab this year.

So Miss beat Grambling 68-47. Its the swac but Grambling did go to the ncaa last year.

MT was on the road Sunday afternoon at Furman and struggled (I thought the officiating was suspect, FU went FT line 27 times, MT 13), was down 12 at one point in the 3rd period, but came back and won 78-71.

ODU beats Cincinnati on the road in OT, 76-72. Bearcats were picked fifth in the AAC so not exactly Vandy, Texas or Texas A&M but an important win for a young Monarchs program all the same

Only losing by 10 is still pretty good. Most of the time I see in women's basketball it's always super lopsided between high ranked and non ranked teams.
