yup... that dude has it... only thing that he missed... really didn't miss it though.. is they got fired anyway... Now this guy is doing the same thing to clear space of older "marginal" players for his own influx of brutality and intellectuality. Apparently not speed though.... 5.36... Are you kidding me? That's slow for a guard.... wow...

But we will see... If he really is "super coach", he will recruit the program turnaround in here.. If not, I'll be laying in the weeds with the "I tolt ya" Army....

RE: Rice vs. Louisiana Tech
Are we going over this load of hogwash again? I've got NG on ignore but y'all are quoting him and referencing his cockamamie attempts at humor and insight. Damn.

What's really in his argument is this: NG thinks Bailiff believed that he had a chance to save his job while losing in his last season, and that Karlgaard was his co-conspirator. Bailiff would sit older, better players (Tyner) for "reasons" and then be able to claim he would have won but for all the inexperience he was forced to play. Assuming this had a chance in hell of working, the AD would have had to be in on it too.

The whole thing is 137 kinds of dumb.

Look, I don't know Tyner from Adam and I'll never profess to be an expert on quarterbacks, so I mean this as no insult to the kid. But has anyone stopped to consider that two different coaching staffs have now decided that he's not starter material at Rice? One stupid conspiracy theory isn't enough - now we need two conspiracies?

Look what you made me do. Dammit.

Dear Fuzzy Bird,

You misunderstand me, Sir.... I'm in no way mocking the player. He likely does in fact have "Andrew Luck's arm talent". With a 5.3 40 time, he has to.. I wish him nothing but the best...

But, to answer the question of whom (is it whom or who?) might be the target of my mockery, look no further than the Marvel of Meritocracy, the Boss of Brutality, the A in Arrogance, the "In" in "in over your head", and the Commodore of the Cardinal Way... Mr. Bloomgren.. He's a great coach if you just listen close enough..

Ps: Hi Hank.. Missed you

Sorta agree...you’re the only guy on here who has any idea of what YOU are talking about. The rest of us use logic and reason.

He pretty much nailed your theory - play freshmen to save job - but he way underestimated the 137kinds of stupid.

lol... you got me there.... I have no defense to logic and reason....

Except facts...

Ghost has spoken...

(But for what it's worth... There's a little bitty small piece of you Optimistic that thinks the ABO I and maybe even a little of the ABO II are real. And deep down in your soul.. In places you don't talk about at parties, you hope you're wrong... The fact is, you (Parliament) want me on this board.. you NEED me on this board. I don't eat breakfast, but if I did, it would be 300 yards away from 4000 Owl fans that were trained to hate me. (Are there currently 4000 Owl fans?) .. So what I want you to do now is stand there in your boring grey uniform and extend me some Rice Owl Courtesy..)

I don't care to toss him out. Nor do I care to humor his ill-conceived notions. But once in a while he is right, or at least close to it. None of those times are associated with the letters A, B, or O. When he is right, I will tell him.

The thing about the ABO is that it's so far beyond the demonstrated capabilities of the previous staff. if the previous staff couldn't figure out that calling timeouts on the first posession is a terrible idea or running a short side fake on 4th and 14 is downright retarded, they surely werent capable of ninja-cloak-and-dagger ABO.

Similarly, if the current staff continues with the pitch play for no gain for another 2 seasons, the ABO II will be similarly invalidated definitively.

No. I have a delusional person in my life, and I fight this battle daily. No joke.

But I can why it could be interpreted as talking to a mirror, and NG is not the only delusional poster here (IMO).
