Looking for feedback on formatting, and if you'd rather have the threads broken up by the day rather than lumping it into a weekend, etc. Or if you want me to chill out and let others make threads as they come, that's cool too.

Looks fine, as is! Even without Smart, I fully expect UNT to sweep the Rainbow Classic this weekend. There is no reason to lose to Humboldt State, Portland, or Hawaii.

What's the question mark for? I don't think anyone gets the right to question us for a non-DI game with the schedule we are playing this year. I challenge anyone to show me a tougher non-conf schedule than MT is going to play.

I think the question marks are a nice touch. Is FIU really playing a culinary institute?

It was my place holder for D2 or D3. Never did the research to figure out what class they were in. It's not meant to be offensive.

I like it and say continue doing it as is. Same thing I try and do with baseball...lump the midweek games together and then lump the weekend games together.

Not to take 09's thunder away, because likewise I appreciate it, but one thing I do (even though I don't like ESPN) is I have this following link pinned to my bookmark bar. It automatically updates every day to those games in conference and the scoreboard is updated more frequently than you would expect. Just another easy option since so many people are lazy and need a thread like this.

Both options will help you find the conference's games on any given day and let you keep up with scores.

I like the formatting you have, broken out day by day, you include who is the road team and who is the home team, and you include TV information. Well done.

Most teams play two games a week most of the time so I think it makes sense to break it down into a "Weekend thread" (Friday through Sunday) and a "Non weekend thread" (Monday through Thursday). Most of the time every team will have one game listed in each thread. You could also make a case for one thread a week, post it on the weekend for the upcoming week.

EDIT: One other suggestion (might be too much trouble) is you might include links to pregame articles, online listening or other links of interest. You would probably only have to look up the links once and keep them book marked (each team's media outlets).

Yep! All I do is add an extra layer to show where to watch since espn doesn't always say.

Hey I would love to play a basketball team whose majors are baking and pastry arts! They would all be 300 lbs

RE: 11/9 - 11/11 basketball games
So tonight's big games include:

ODU @ St. Joe's - Last I looked we were 1.5 point dogs, so pretty much a tossup. I expect this to be a low scoring dogfight, hopefully us having a game under our belt has allowed us to get our jitters out and we can come out swinging. This is St. Joe's season opener but they're playing at home.

Rice @ Penn - Penn took down GMU of the A10 earlier this week. Mason was pegged near the top of the conference preseason so a fairly surprising upset. Couldn't find a line on this game, ESPN had none listed and all the gambling sites are blocked on my work computer but should be a tough out for a young Rice team on the road. Not undoable though, get 'er done Hooters!

UTEP @ NMSU - Another road game, this one against rival NMSU. I don't know much about NMSU this year except they laid it on NDSU earlier this week. UTEP seems to be young but talented, this will probably be a challenge so early in the season.

The rest SHOULD be gimme's. Let's get some wins.
