RE: 11/9 - 11/11 basketball games
Hofstra 72
Marshall 76
Final

Marshall Scoring:
Jon Elmore 30
CJ Burks 23
Iran Bennett 6
Darius George 6
Rondale Watson 4
Jarrod West 3
Jannson Williams 2
Taevon Kinsey 2

A shooting guard Justin Wright-Foreman had almost half of Hofsta's point total, he scored 34 and was hitting almost everything he threw up in the 1st half.

Darius George only scored 6 points, 2 3s. But he took a charge with 12.2 seconds left to go to basically seal the game.

Wait second are these bowl games? 3-0 versus AAC? I knew CUSA dominated AAC in football now in basketball too!

Nice wins FAU and USM!

Keep on winning those non conference games! Could this be the year? Dare I say... TWO bids?

Nice wins FAU and USM!

The AACk board or rather basketball thread is in simi meltdown mode. UCF was a 22.5 point favorite over FAU and SMU was a 9.5 favorite over USM.

All the AAC board (pesik and co) was claiming how bad Wichita State was going to be after losing to Tech. They turn around and beat Big East Providence yesterday03-lmfao

CUSA looking good so far. Nice wins LT, Charlotte, USM, Marshall, and FAU.

No one with any really bad D1 losses yet as far as I can tell

Still a long long ways to go in OOC but yes, this is the best start to a season for this version of CUSA basketball.

It's not possible for them to give ANY congratulations or admit that any of us pleebs in CUSA could accidentally win a game in anything against the all mighty AAC.

Wichita State won't know how bad or good they are until conference play starts, they lost every starter from the team Marshall even played in the NCAAs last year.

Come next year I don't think Marshall will know where they stand until conference play once we lose Elmore, Burks and Watson. I mean there is potential there, but West, Williams, George and others will have to step up and play different roles then.

This is our big run. I'm certain we will dip down next year

But right now, I like the resolve we showed to keep fighting today. I thought Hofstra looked like an NCAA tourney team myself.

Jon Elmore is going to leave a black hole sized crater when he leaves our program.

North Texas 35 Hawaii 17 Halftime. In his halftime interview, the Hawaii coach said his team was getting punked by the Mean Green. Ha ha.

North Texas wins the Rainbow Classic with a win over the hosts! All in all, a pretty good day for CUSA.

Dan D'Antoni Post Game Press Conference -- Hofstra

Seriously if you have never listened to a Dan D'Antoni PC you really should. They guy is hilarious. If he wasn't such a good coach he would be an amazing stand up comic.
