Turds
What a win last night. It was refreshing to see the dogs just totally dominate the Turds. The Turd's offense didn't even want to be out there in the 2nd half. Our defense was smothering them all game and HITTING HARD- the turds will feel that on their way back to Turdledo with their tails between their turds.

Also, our offensive line and TEs must work a little harder in the weight room than the turds because we straight up dominated the turds on the line. Easy running straight up the middle for Harbo. That's what the hard way is all about. Sure, the turds can put up big points against teams that don't even play defense, but the turds were shell-shocked last night against the ferocious Huskie defense.

Nice win, I love beating the turds- our non rival.

Lets beat the crap out of Miami and punch our ticket back to DETROIT.

Pour yourself a drink and enjoy all the boo-hooing over at the "Launchpad" board. Seems like they hate Candle as much as some Dog Pounders hate Carey.

Awesome game, turning out to be a fun season. Wish we had a little more offense for the Utah game, could be getting more buzz right now.

Childers seems to have established confidence and is playing well as of late.

Cannot give enough credit to the O-line.Toledo was saying how much better they were against the run, and their recent games back that up, including giving up less than 100 yards to Ball St. and 125 yards to WMU, a very good running team. Last night we had 296 yards rushing on 44 carries (6.7 yards/carry). The O-line dominated the line of scrimmage and opened great holes for Harbs, Jones and Childers.

We threw a total of 9 passes in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters combined. We pounded the rock and they couldn't stop it.

That "boo-hooing" has been going on all season. This game outcome really isn't a surprise to us Toledo fans.

That's completely false. If Toledo could afford to pay a HC $1,125,000 then we would still have Matt Campbell as our HC.....or maybe even someone better yet.

Candle's base salary is $425,000 plus $250,000 in marketing compensation (radio show, ads, etc.). Last year he also got $125,000 in incentives, which included winning the MACC. But that obviously isn't happening this year and he might not even make a bowl game.

FYI the Blade has him over a million a year in total compensation (includes 650k a year in marketing).

Only $250K in marketing is coming from the University of Toledo. If he's making $650K per year in marketing, the other $400K is coming from outside sources......probably to market their business.

They had 8 and 9 in the box and we still ran at them and had big plays. Hats off to the O line.

Biggest thing I took out of this game was that Toledo gave up. You dont see that often from a Rocket team. They checked out in the 2nd half

Are you going to give any credit to Rod Carey and the coaching staff?

Didn't watch Toledo play Ohio last year, did you? Or Fresno State this year? Of Buffalo this year?

So apparently Toledo only gives up when they play good teams.

I have said that I give Carey credit for not letting things derail after this start. I am not sure he will ever be capable of beating a top 50 team with how conservative and afraid he coaches, but oh well , we know what we are getting with Carey now.

My point about Toledo was that it is just highly unusual for me to see a Toledo team quit like that. I would suspect they have some coaching issues also.

I dont know if give up is the right term, maybe soft? They just seem disinterested in the 2nd half to me. NIU deserves some credit for that, the defense probably pounded them into submission, I just am not used to seeing Toledo teams wave the white flag.

HD, even Brian, probably the biggest Toledo fan of all time, agrees with me.
