We are missing the spark of energy, leadership and shooting of Rowley.

It's appropriate that Williams and Loewe are getting starting opportunities and chances to show what they can do, but after two games it appears to me the Owens and Audige are bringing more to the table. I think we'll see role reversals here soon, with Williams and Loewe coming off the bench.

Tough task for Shaver to find the right combinations and ratios of players/time for this team to reach its potential.

From Shaver's comments i would agree that Audige will start soon. Not convinced that Owens can run the offense as PG and think that position is in flux.

Shaver's offense doesn't use a PG in the traditional sense to "run the offense". At times we have Pierce bringing the ball up the floor. I believe Owens played some PG in HS and he certainly did fine bringing the ball up the floor against pressure when asked to these first two games. I see no reason Owens can see time at the 1.


Here is how I would roughly allocate minutes next game based on play to date:


1 - Owens (33%), Loewe (33%), Scott (33%)

2 - Milon (60%), Owens (25%), Williams (15%)

3 - Audige (65%), Williams (20%), Blair (15%)

4 - Pierce (85%), Blair (15%)

5 - Knight (85%), Harvey (15%)

When we get Rowley healthy I think he takes bulk of Williams and Blair minutes.
