The music and dribbling is a nod to an old Nike commercial and local Memphis hip hop beats. You need nothing more, and nothing less. Whoever did this gets it and we are lucky to have their help. Thoughtfully conceived and well executed.

IMHO, I don't like it at all. Not even paying attention to the lack of music, it just seems like an awful lot of show-boating for a young team. I'm all down for getting pumped up, but to me, this just isn't it.

Someone else mentioned the players like it, and if it's Penny approved, then so be it.

I just don’t see how that video gets the crowd up and pumped for player intros. Its a creative piece and I like it, but its not conducive to pompon shaking and clapping. I see a bunch of folks standing with the hands in their pockets waiting for it to be over so they can cheer for the Tigers.

For some reason, we put more emphasis on an intro video than any other school in the country. It's sort of bizarre. Any theories why this is such a big deal to Memphis fans?
